Students can demonstrate univalent and multiple bonds by linking the atoms in this Organic Structure Model set represented by colored plastic balls. In addition, with the included springs as links, they can recreate flexible bonds and ring compounds. Comes with instruction, ten 2” long springs and 54 colored plastic balls: 10 black (carbon); 2 blue (nitrogen, 1 ¼” dia.); 28 yellow (hydrogen); 6 red (oxygen); 4 green (chlorine); 2 orange (bromine); 2 purple (iodine, 1 1/8” dia.); and thirty 1 ½” long pegs. All housed in a sturdy wooden storage box.
